On February 2, 2012 the Alabama Association of Nonprofits, in partnership with the Alabama Broadcasters Association, is taking one day to harness the power of individual contributions statewide.
Alabama Gives Day aims to make history by connecting new and existing donors with hundreds of Alabama nonprofits in just 24 hours. Urban Ministry needs your support to ensure that the citizens of our community are aware of this day of giving.
5 ways to support Urban Ministry on Alabama Gives Day, Thursday, February 2:
1. Visit AlabamaGivesDay.org/UrbanMinistry to make a contribution. You can also “Like” our profile, track our progress, and share your donation with friends.
2. Text CHANGE URBAN to 84465 to give $10!*

4. Eat at Moe's Bar-b-que in Lakeview all day, from 11 a.m. to 10. p.m., and 10% of your total will go to support our work - just be sure to mention Urban Ministry at the register. When you do, please thank them for supporting our work!
5. Join our junior board from 6-8 p.m. at Moe's Bar-b-que and Blues Review to celebrate our first annual Gives Day and watch the movie Groundhog Day.
We're counting on you! Thank you for your support.
If each of our donors gives only $10 on February 2 and gets one friend to do the same, we'll be well on our way to raising $10,000.
