At Urban Ministry, showing compassion and loving people are our most important callings. WE Care is comprised of compassion programs such as Beeson Senior Services, Crisis Clinic, emergency services, homelessness prevention, rapid rehousing, and street outreach. Our clients mean the world to us. A few have chosen to share their personal stories and experiences with Urban Ministry.

Amelia is an amazing woman. She lights up a room with her beautiful personality. Her life has been full of struggles, but she continues to meet each challenge with an unwavering trust in God that He will see her through. Last year, she was diagnosed with cancer and she was determined to beat it. After months of treatment, Amelia is back on her feet and enjoying life again. Not knowing how she was going to afford keeping her home with unexpected medical costs, Amelia turned to Urban Ministry for help.
We are grateful that we could lighten the economic burden for Amelia during this difficult time through Urban Ministry’s generous utility assistance and case management programs. We give thanks to God for Amelia and her courage. She is an inspiration to all of us at Urban Ministry. Please help us continue to impact lives through our Emergency Care Programs for the elderly.
