We give thanks to God for bringing Sederick into our lives. His positive attitude makes him a friend to everyone he meets. More than a year ago, Sederick was homeless and being discharged from the hospital with no where to go. The hospital contacted Urban Ministry for help and our social workers met with him and admitted him into our housing program.
With many challenges before him, Sederick and our team were able to locate appropriate supportive housing and medical supportive services. He also was able to obtain SSI benefits and Medicaid. Each month, our social work team transports Sederick to needed medical appointments. He also enjoys gathering with friends at our monthly social at Avondale Samaritan Place. It is truly a blessing to be apart of the healing process and help someone recover from a very difficult situation. Please help us continue to impact lives through our Homeless Programs for the disabled.
